The first volume of Folkloric studies (row I/3-1) brings a complete edition of Janáček´s texts concerning folkloric activities and were published during composer´s life. The book contains the articles and studies of different extension which were sent to specialized periodicals and daily press or guided prepared collections of folk songs and dances. The extension of themes of these texts is adequate to a vastness and impulses touching the author. Feuilletonic style he treated great deal of experience of his journeys for folk songs to coutryside. The paper "About musical aspect of Moravian folk songs" (1901) appear essential because the author has analytically commented both material and context of folkloric phenomenons. Later papers reflect also an interest of phonetics and psychology.
